Listen-Only Keypanel

The LKP-957 is a listen-only keypanel, designed for monitoring audio sources present in RTS Digital Matrix products, including

ADAM, ADAM-CS, Zeus, and CS-9500/9600-9700 systems. It has an internal speaker, front panel volume control, and provides

rear connectors for headset and external speaker.
The LKP-957 is well suited for monitoring program feeds and party-line communications, as well as remote feeds, and other

production support functions.
The LKP-957 can be operator configured to operate in single source mode (ONE), or in multiple source mode (MANY), and in

the MANY mode can be temporarily switched to ISO(late) monitor a single source.

Headset/Speaker Select

To select an optional external headset, tap the HDST key.

The key lights when an external headset is selected, and the

internal speaker shuts off. To turn off the headset and turn

the speaker back on, tap the HDST key again.

Operating Mode Select

The LKP-957 has two operating modes: “ONE” and “MANY”.

The current operating mode is identified in the mode display

below the HDST key. To change operating mode, tap the

HDST key twice.

“ONE” Mode

In this mode, only one listen key may be on at a time. Tap

the desired listen key to listen to that channel. Tapping

another listen key will automatically turn off the previously

selected key. Tapping the key that is on will turn that key off.

“MANY” Mode

In this mode, many listen keys may be on at the same time.

Tap listen keys as desired to turn channels on/off.

“Using the ISO Feature in “MANY” Mode

The ISO feature may be used to momentarily deactivate all

but one listen key. To use this feature, press and hold the

desired listen key. After approximately one second, all other

listen keys will shut off. When the listen key is released, all of

the previously selected listen keys will turn back on.
