Activate the answering system
The answerng system must be turned on to answer and record messages.
If the answerng system s turned on, the ANS ON/OFF lght wll be on. Press
ANS ON/OFF to turn the answerng system off or on.
Set the clock
Before playng each message, the answerng system announces the day and
tme of the message receved. Before usng the answerng system, set the day,
tme and year, so that messages are dated correctly. If the clock s not set before
new messages are recorded, the system wll announce “Time and day not set.”
before each message s played to remnd you to set the clock.
Press CLOCK. The system announces the clock settng (e.g. day, tme and
year), then announces: “To set the clock, press CLOCK.”
Press CLOCK. The system announces the current day.
Press /SKIP or /REPEAT untl the system announces the correct day, then
press CLOCK. The system announces the current hour.
Press /SKIP or /REPEAT untl the system announces the correct hour, then
press CLOCK. The system announces the current mnute.
Press /SKIP or /REPEAT untl the system announces the correct mnute,
then press CLOCK. The system announces the current year.
Press /SKIP or /REPEAT untl the system announces the correct year, then
press CLOCK. The system announces the current clock settng and exts the
clock menu.
