INSTALLING AND REPLACING BATTERIES

The unit uses 1 LR-44 size battery which is included in the package.

Follow these steps to install or replace battery:
1.
Use a screw driver to open the battery cover. (Follow the direction of

the arrow.)

2. Insert a new battery (make sure positive (+) is facing you).
3. Replace the battery cover.

NOTE Please keep this manual handy as you use your new product. It contains practical step-by-step instructions, as well as technical specifications and warnings you should know about. Do not use a dishwasher to clean the

probe or immerse in water or liquid. Clean the probe with water and a mild detergent. Wipe the cabinet with a damp cloth.

DISPLAY MODES

The thermometer has three different display modes:

TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

1. Pull out the Pocket Thermometer from the plastic sleeve.
2. Pierce the sensor probe into meat or place the sensor probe into water.

Press and hold the [ON/FAST] button for a faster sensing rate, the
measuring temperature will show on the display in a second. The
temperature sensing rate will operate at its normal speed if you do not
press the [ON/FAST] button.

Caution: The effective measuring area is 1.5"–2" from the tip.

Do not expose the main unit out of the operating temperature.

Caution: Do not leave the thermometer in the food on the grill.

USING THE MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM

TEMPERATURE MEMORY

The Pocket Thermometer will automatically record the maximum and minimum
measurements.
You can recall those readings by doing the following:

USING THE AUTO POWER OFF AND POWER OFF FUNCTIONS

Press the [AUTO-OFF] button. This enables “AUTO” to display, indicating
the thermometer will turn off automatically. If you do not press any key for
6 to 7 minutes, the thermometer will turn off automatically.

If you press the [AUTO-OFF] button once again, the thermometer will turn
off immediately.

PURCHASER of this Digital Pocket Thermometer, that it will be free
from defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase as
follows: 2 year(s) when assembled, and operated in accordance with the
printed instructions accompanying it.

Weber may require reasonable proof of your date of purchase.
THEREFORE, YOU SHOULD RETAIN YOUR SALES RECEIPT
OR INVOICE.
This Limited Warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of
parts that prove defective under normal use and service and which on
examination shall indicate, to Weber’s satisfaction, that they are defective.
If Weber confirms the defect and approves the claim, Weber will elect to
repair or replace such parts without charge. If you are required to return
defective parts, transportation charges must be prepaid. Weber will return
parts to the purchaser, freight or postage prepaid.
This Limited Warranty does not cover any failures or operating difficulties
due to accident, abuse, misuse, alteration, misapplication, vandalism,
improper installation or improper maintenance or service, or failure to
perform normal and routine maintenance. Deterioration or damage due
to severe weather conditions such as hail, hurricanes, earthquakes or
tornadoes, discolouration due to exposure to chemicals either directly or
in the atmosphere, is not covered by this Limited Warranty. Weber shall not
be liable under this or any implied warranty for incidental or consequential
damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also
have other rights, which vary from state to state.

NOTE: You may like to clear the memory occasionally, so you can record

the Maximum / Minimum for a specified period.

Resetting a memory will result in the current temperature being
