INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 3840 FJ Cruiser Hi-Lift Mount
1. The installation of this kit is very straight forward. In your kit you will have two large outer mount plates,
two smaller inner mount plates, some hardware and two linchpins.
2. You can locate this kit on either side of or on the rear portion of your FJ Cruiser factory roof rack.
3. Once you have decided where to locate
the Hi-Lift jack, use the supplied
hardware and sandwich the upper and
lower main tubes of the factory rack
between the large outer mount plate and
smaller inner mount plate.
4. Set the Hi-Lift jack down into the
recesses of the large outer mount plates
and snap the linchpins through the
uppermost holes to secure the jack. A
lock (not provided) can also be utilized
through the lower oblong holes on the
bracket that index with the holes in the
Hi-Lift jack.
5. Your installation is now complete.
