OPERATION ADJUSTMENTS -
MODELS 1132
To fill lubricator, release pressure in the bowl by
slowly removing fill plug. Oil is then added to
the bowl through fill port without the necessity
of depressurizing the system. A long spout or
funnel that can be inserted in the opening, is
recommended for filling the bowl. The bowl
should not be removed while the lubricator is
under pressure. Oil may be filled to the top of
the bowl.

Milton lubricators automatically vary oil mist
delivery with airflow variations at any
adjustment. The lubricator wick element
assembly is factory pre-set at a "mean"
(halfway) adjustment that has been found
correct for most applications. Increased oil mist
delivery is obtained by raising the feeder wick
(A) higher in the airstream. To decrease oil mist
delivery, lower the oil feeder wick in the
airstream. See following instructions.

TO ADJUST OIL FEEDER WICK ASSEMBLY (A-C-E)

FIRST - Depressurize unit, then loosen bowl ring nut BY HAND.
Remove metal bowl oil reservoir with ring nut. Loosen
locknut (B).

SECOND - Increase oil mist delivery by turning nut (C) up to
raise feeder wick (A) in airstream or turn nut (C) down to
decrease oil mist delivery as desired.

THIRD - Tighten locknut (B). The height of the feeder wick (A) in
the airstream is visually indicated by the relative position of the
notch (D) on adjusting nut (C) to the bottom of locknut (B).

FOURTH - Replace metal bowl with ring nut, being sure "O" ring
seal is correctly set in lubricator headgroove. Tighten bowl ring
nut BY HAND.

Minimum Air Flow for Lubrication is 30 SCFM
