-Use M10 x P1.25 Banjo-Bolt

-Lever angle is adjustable to 6 positions (#17-653/B is 4 positions)

-Use DOT 4 polyglycol ether based fluid and Do NOT use DOT 5 brake fluid or silicone

based fluid

Instructions:
*Refer to illustration below before installation

1. Release all brake fluid.

2. Remove stock master cylinder assembly.

3. Install new master cylinder assembly to the handlebar. Connect brake hose with

M10 x P1.25 banjo bolt. Always use a new gasket.

4. Use the supplied bracket with the mirror (or M10 x P1.25 bolt), and fix the reservoir

tank on the bracket.

5. Fill with new brake fluid.

6. Bleed the air continuously until all the air is completely released and lever has a sharp

grip. Make sure that air bleeding is also done in the rubber hose between the

reservoir and master cylinder. Any air left in the whole kit may result in poor brake

function and may cause an accident.

7. Connect the brake switch connector to the new master cylinder assembly and make

sure that the brake lamp is working.

8. Adjust the angle of the lever for best position.

9. Make sure that the lever does not shift around, that the brake hose and banjo bolt

area is not leaking, and nothing is in the way of your brakes when steering.
