A small software program is required on the Back Office system, arranging the
communication between the Discovery and the product information file (e.g.
Price Look Up file). This program will be supplied by the Scantech Distributor.
Scantech supplies I-START, the easy to use configuration- and demo-tool
(Windows based) featuring Editing the standard messages, icons and bitmaps,
demo with bar code file, analysing the network status, extensive help file etc.
