BL 1000 Series Code Change instructions

The combination can be changed in a matter of seconds on the door without the need of any special
tools or disassembly. There are up to 1000 combinations and can be changed using the code change
button on the underside outer edge of the lock face.

To change the code the unit needs the correct combination. The factory pre-set code on this
unit is set to 0-0-0, if the code has been changed from the factory pre-set code this will not
work.

With the correct code entered the face of the key pad can be turned 90 to its open position
which will expose the code change button on the underside out edge of the lock face.

The code change pin can be pushed with a paper clip or a ball point pen. With the code
change button pushed in all the way the combination can be changed by rotating the dials to
the desired combination. Please note the code change pin will need to be held in for the
whole time when changing the combination.

With all three dials set to the desired code the code change button can now be released.

Before closing the door please ensure that the code works on the new set combination.
With the unit accepting the new set combination the door can now be closed.

If for whatever reason the new set combination does not work please follow the code change
procedure from step one. If you need assistance with changing your code please call the Borg locks
(UK) helpline on 0800 44 88 377.
