Monocular/Microscope

USING THE MONOCULAR

1. Hold the eyepiece of the monocular up to your eye with one hand. With the other hand, focus
on an object in the distance. Using the zoom ring rotate the ring either right or left to zoom in
and/or out.

2. To adjust the focus, rotate the focuser right or left and/or pull away or
push in tube from you until the image is clear.

USING THE MONOCULAR/MICROSCOPE

1. Attach the plastic chamber to the monocular, by screwing the top part
of the plastic chamber (adapter) into the objective lens of the monocular

2. View specimen through eyepiece and adjust zoom by rotating the zoom
ring either right or left.

3. Adjust the focus by rotating the focuser right or left and/or slowly pulling
the monocular up or down while holding down the plastic chamber down
until image is clear. See illustration

4. To remove plastic chamber from the monocular, simply unscrew plastic
chamber from objective lens of the monocular

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR MONOCULAR

1. When wiping the eyepiece or objective lens, use the included lens cloth
or a soft lint-free cloth.

2. To remove any remaining dirt or smudges, add 1 or 2 drops of alcohol to
the cloth and gently wipe objective lens and eyepiece.

3. When storing the monocular/microscope, if necessary unscrew plastic chamber from
the objective lens of the monocular. Store monocular in a moisture-free area.

IMPORTANT: Never attempt to clean your monocular internally or attempt to take it apart.
