the sample probe is properly aligned for use with the plate
chosen for use.

7. Click Options on the toolbar. The options dialog box opens.

8. On the User tab, click Browse. Select the Calibrator beadmap

then click OK. Click OK again to close the Settings dialog box.

9. Click New Session on the opening screen to open a new session.

A Settings dialog box opens.

10. On the General tab of the Settings dialog box, set the number of

events to 2000 and change the per bead to total using the drop-
down list. Set samples to 6 and sample size to 50 µL.

11. On the Bead Set tab of the Settings dialog box, click >> to select

both, then click OK to close the Settings dialog box.

12. Click the C button, located above the bar graph, so that the

acquisition of the sample displays while data is collected.

13. Click Start to run the beads on the Luminex 100 analyzer.

14. Save the session and close the Luminex Data Collector software.

The folder contains these files: <output.csv>, <results.mdb>,
<session.dpg>, <project.lpx>, and the RUN files.

15. Send the session via email for a Technical Support representative

to analyze the verification. Be sure that you include all of the
files listed in step 14 with your email. The email address is
[email protected]. If you do not have access to email
from the Luminex 100 system, copy the files to a floppy disk and
send them from another computer.

16. Technical Support uses these files to verify that your system runs

as it should.
