Pre Batch Routine - Opens the Commands and Routines dialog box so you can select a

pre-batch command or routine.

Plate Name - Specifies the plate you want to display in the plate image in the list. Add

Plate adds a new plate to the batch, and Delete Plate deletes the plate highlighted in the
list.

Plate Name - This list displays the available plates to use for the selected routine or
procedure.

WARNING:

When using multiple plates, use them in the proper order.
Failure to do so can result in inaccurate data and test results.

Direction - Specifies the direction to run the plate commands. Select either horizontally or

vertically. The selected direction also dictates how wells are added to the plate when
assigning multiple unknowns, standards, and controls at one time.

Plate Navigation - Displays a smaller plate image for the current batch. Click and drag in

the box to select wells to display.

NOTE: The click and drag option is only available on a 384-well plate.

Off Plate Area - Designates an alternate location for maintenance commands in the

Commands and Routines list.

Cancel - Returns to the main Protocols tab without saving.

Back - Returns to the Analytes tab

Save - Saves the protocol and returns to the main Protocols tab.
