Probe and Heater Tab
Use this tab to adjust the probe height and plate heater settings.

Auto Adjust Height. Automatically adjusts the probe height using the specified
location(s) in the main plate, reservoir, and strip wells.
NOTE: It is recommended to calibrate the probe height using row A.
Plate Location. Defines the location used to auto adjust the probe height. Select the
check box for either the main plate, reservoir, and/or strip wells. The plate height must be
saved for either a 96-well or 384-well plate; however, the probe height for the reservoir
and strip-wells are automatically saved after height adjustment.
Move Probe Down. Moves the probe down in the specified well(s).
Plate Type. Defines the selection of either a 96-well plate or a 384-well plate (if you select
a 384-well plate, a small representation of the plate appears below the main plate image.
Click and drag the blue-bordered bounding box to display the full range of the plate’s
wells).
Plate Name. Type a name for a plate for future use, or select an existing plate from the
list.
Plate Images. Assigns a particular well to use for probe height adjustment in the main
plate, reservoir, and strip wells. Clicking in a well displays a blue pin to denote its use for
the height adjustment.
Current Height. Used to fine tune the probe height after an auto-adjust. It displays the
current height of the probe, and the arrows below allow for adjustments up or down.
