4.6.2.1 Tagname

The Point tagname appears in the upper left corner of the Point Display. The full tagname (up to 16 charac-
ters) is shown.

4.6.2.2 Legend

Legends are currently not supported in Micro-DCI instruments.

4.6.2.3 Status Area

The Status Area appears below the tagname and legend areas. This area is nearly identical to the Group
Display status area described in

Section 4.3.2.3, Status Area

.

The second and third lines of the status message area contain the alarm status of point and mode mes-
sages, respectively. These lines function as described for the Group Display.

The alarm indicators function as described for the Group Display.

4.6.2.4 Param Pushbutton

The Param pushbutton appears near the top right corner of the Point Display. Click on this pushbutton to
view the Parameter window.

The Parameter window allows you to change the parameters for the point. The Parameter window con-
tains a numbered list of parameters. The contents of this list is different for each module type; typical
parameters include items such as alarm limit and deadband values and instrument ranges. If the list con-
tains more than ten parameters, the vertical scroll bar must be used to view the additional parameters.
