50 Hierarchical Process Displays

Each entry in the list contains the atom name, description, and current value of a parameter. A new value
for a parameter can be entered in the text entry box which appears at the right side of each line. Keyboard
focus can be moved from one entry box to another by using the

key, or by clicking on an entry box.

4.6.2.5 Info Pushbutton

The Info pushbutton appears at the top right corner of the Point Display. Click this pushbutton to view the
Info window.

4.6.2.6 Process Display Area

The rest of the Point Display is called the Process Display Area. The information shown in the Process Dis-
play Area is determined by the Module Type.

The Process Display Area for all analog Module Types is similar to that for an ANI module (

Figure 4-11

provides an example). On the lower right side appears the same information shown on the Group Display
(value bar, alarm bar, control buttons, etc.). To the left of that information appears a current trend display,
which plots the process value of the point against time, every second, for up to two minutes. This trend
begins plotting only when the Point Display is called up, and is not configurable. Current Trends are not
stored (see

Section 6

). The current process value is shown, digitally, above the trend and to the right of the

status area.

NOTE

The Process Display Area for the CON module provides current
trends for three values: the Process Value (PV), the Setpoint (SP),
and the Output (OUT). Each trace can be toggled on or off
individually, using buttons found below the Process Display Area.
