BEFORE USING TIMER
Make sure tape has been removed from BATTERY COMPARTMENT. (See Battery Replacement below). 00M 00S will appear on display.
COUNTDOWN ALARM TIMING
1. Set MIN and SEC to desired time.
Note: Press and hold MIN or SEC to advance setting rapidly.
2. Press START/STOP button to begin timing.
3. When time is up, alarm will sound for 30 seconds, turn off automatically, and return to last programmed setting.
4. Alarm may be turned off manually by pressing any button.
5. When alarm is turned off manually, press START/STOP to return to last programmed setting.
6. To return display to 00M 00S, press MIN and SEC simultaneously. Timer may be cleared to zero either when the count is running or when it is
stopped.
TIME-OUT
Timer may be stopped at any time by pressing START/STOP button. Press START/STOP button again to resume timing.
ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this timer does not function properly for any reason, please replace battery with a new, high-quality battery (see “Battery Replacement” section).
Low battery power can occasionally cause any number of “apparent” operational difficulties. Replacing battery with a new, fresh battery will solve
most difficulties.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
An incorrect display, no display or operational difficulties indicate that battery should be replaced. Use a coin to open battery cover on back of timer
(turn cover approximately 1/8 of a turn counter-clockwise). Insert battery with positive (+) side facing up. Replace battery cover. Catalog No. 1039.
