WARNING: Read all instruction prior to installation. Never work on a snowmobile while snowmobile is running.

Before any drilling is done to your snowmobile, take adequate precautions to be sure no debris will end up in your

clutches or any other areas that may cause damage or injury. If possible, remove the clutch cover from the

snowmobile while drilling any holes or doing any riveting, this will make installation easier.

STEP 1: Remove any previously installed spare spark plug or drive belt

holders from the top of the clutch cover that will interfere with the

CargoCaddy.

STEP 2: Drill through the CargoCaddy at the two circled bosses located on

the bottom of the CargoCaddy using a 7/32” drill bit.

STEP 3: Place the CargoCaddy on top of the clutch cover and adjust its position so it does not interfere with

the hood or any cooling or control mechanisms when closed.

NOTE: Hood foam above the

CargoCaddy may need to be removed in some snowmobiles to allow proper closer of hood.

STEP 4: With the CargoCaddy in the desired position on top of the clutch cover and the CargoCaddy lid

opened or removed, use a center punch to mark drill locations in the clutch cover at the holes in the

bottom of the CargoCaddy from

STEP 2. Drill the holes in the clutch cover at the 2 locations using

a 7/32” drill bit.

STEP 5: Place the CargoCaddy back on the clutch cover with the belt clip sandwiched between the

CargoCaddy and the clutch cover. Using two rivets fasten the CargoCaddy and belt clip to the

cover using the two previously drilled holes.

STEP 6: On the inside bottom of the CargoCaddy are 6 numbered bosses, pick 4 of them which you can drill

through both the CargoCaddy and the clutch cover, and drill through using a 7/32” bit. Then use

the 4 remaining rivets to fasten the CargoCaddy to the clutch cover.
