BLU-IR Infrared Sensors
BLU-IR Wiring Instructions
The BLU-IR is a light
source/receiver pair of
infrared sensors for use
with BSS Audio London
Series Digital Signal
Processors. They are used
to sense whether doors or
partitions are open or
closed, so the mixer can
provide audio to an
overflow area.
LIGHT SOURCE RECEIVER
Mount to
flanges on
each side of
the sliding
door or
partition.
Cat5e Wiring of BLU-IR
Pin 1 – Green wire to White-Orange
Pin 4 - both Red wires to Blue
Pin 8 – both Black wires to Brown
Align sensors on all three axes
