EJ-2 Multi-Input Adapter
The EJ-2 is an audio adapter that allows you to connect the audio output from your laptop
computer or other audio device to the input of an existing public address system. All the
cables are provided for connecting the audio from your laptop, cassette player, CD player,
DVD player, or video tape recorder to the microphone input of a PA system. The EJ-2 is the
ideal companion for an individual making multi-media presentations. It is small and
lightweight so it can travel with you wherever you go.
Instructions: Simply make a connection between the audio output connector(s) of your
laptop or other audio device using either the 3.5mm stereo plug or RCA plugs attached to
Inputs A & B on the EJ-2, then plug the 3-pin XLR connector into any existing microphone
input of the PA system. You are now ready to make your presentation using the EJ-2.
Volume control for the audio can be provided via either the controls on your laptop or
audio device, or through the volume controls associated with the existing PA system. The
EJ-2 is a passive device. It makes use of the power within the audio signal itself, so you
will never need batteries or an external power source while using the EJ-2.

Warranty:
Emtech Electronics, Inc. warrants the Model EJ-2 for a period of two years, from the
original date of purchase, against defects in parts and workmanship. If a defect occurs, the
unit will be repaired or replaced, at our option, free of all charges if delivered prepaid to the
factory. Warranty does not extend to finish, appearance, abuse or defects due to the misuse
or operation under other than specified conditions, nor does it extend to incidental or
consequential damages. Repair by anyone other than Emtech will void the warranty.
