Supercool function

With the supercool function, the cooling
compartment is cooled to the coldest
temperature.
After approx. 40 minutes, or once the
temperature in the cooling compartment
is 2 °C lower than the set temperature,
the super cooling function automatically
switches off.
Once the coldest temperature is
reached, it automatically changes to the
present temperature.
The supercool function is recommended
in the following cases:
■
Before putting a large amount of food
in the cooling compartment.
■
To cool drinks quickly.
Switching on
Press button 4, "fridge/super", repeatedly
until display panel 5 displays "super".
Switching off
Press button 4 "fridge/super".
Superfreeze function

Food should be frozen thoroughly as
quickly as possible. This ensures that
vitamins, nutritional values, the look and
the taste of the food is retained.
To ensure that there is no undesired
increase in temperature while you are
placing fresh food in the freezer, switch
on the "superfreeze" function a few hours
beforehand. In general, 4-6 hours is
sufficient. When making use of the
maximum freezing capacity, 24 hours
are required.
After 24 hours, the temperature
automatically changes to the
temperature that was set before using
"superfreeze".
Switching on
Press button 1, "freezer/super",
repeatedly until display panel 7 displays
"super".
Switching off
Press button 1"freezer/super".
Button lock

When the button lock is switched on, all
of the buttons on the control element are
locked.
Exception: When the button lock is
switched on, the "alarm" button can be
used to switch off the audible warning
signal. In addition, water can still be
dispensed from the appliance.
Switching on and off
Press the "lock" button 2.
If the button lock is switched on, "lock" is
shown on the display panel.
To switch the button lock off, press and
hold "lock" button 2 for
approx. 3 seconds.
