The compact, lightweight SKC Take Charge 5 is designed for optimal charging of
lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batt ery packs used to power high-power and standard model
SKC AirChek
®
XR5000 sample pumps and the Leland Legacy
®
sample pump.
Charge up to fi ve Li-Ion batt ery packs simultaneously.

Operation
1. Plug power cable into jack on
back of unit.
2. Insert power plug into
standard (100-240 volt) wall
outlet.
3. Insert charging plug on front
of unit into pump charging
jack (see right for location of
charging jack). Repeat this step
for the remaining 4 ports if
desired. Ports may contain the
same or any combination of
the compatible batt ery packs
listed in the Performance
Profi le on the reverse side.
The LED at each port will display green until a pump is att ached to the
charging
plug.
4. Charge pump batt ery pack(s). The LED(s) will display red while charging.
The LED(s) will display green when batt ery pack(s) is fully charged.
Note
Completely charge batt ery for optimum results.
5. Remove charging plug(s) from pump charging jack(s) when batt ery pack(s) is
fully charged.
• Do not use in hazardous locations, in rain, or in standing water. For
indoor use only
• Do not obstruct the cooling fan vent or air intakes.
• Use only a 1.6-amp, 250-volt replacement fuse.
