Turning the lamp ON and OFF
To turn the lamp ON and OFF, push the button at the end of the lamp (maximum light output).
Micro Controller switch system
The LED LENSER Micro Controller Switch System uses a micro-processor to control the illumination
of the LED. By using a single switch, the user interface has been designed to be simple, user
friendly, and always allows the user to activate the light in max brightness setting. It can offer
maximum light output; reduced light output and strobe light output.
For Maximum light output: either click the tail switch button on for continuous light or press it once
for instant light.
For reduced light output: press the tail switch once and then click the switch button within 1 second.
For strobe light output: press the tail switch twice and then click the switch button within 1 second.
One-Handed Speed-Focus
This lamp is focusable. To adjust the beam to suit your application, simply push forward or pull back
with your thumb on the head of the flashlight.
Replacing the batteries
To replace the batteries, please unscrew the cap at the end of the lamp. Take out the used
(discharged) batteries and dispose of them properly. Insert the new batteries with the positive pole
(+) first. Close the lamp by screwing the end cap back in place.
Important – when inserting new batteries, follow the polarity marks (+) and (-) that are marked on the
battery housing. If inserted incorrectly, battery damage could occur which could cause an explosion.
Batteries
Never try to recharge batteries or use fresh and used batteries together. Do not use high current
batteries or accumulators as they are not compatible with this lamp. If you intend to not use the lamp
for a long period of time, take the battery out to prevent it from leaking and damaging the lamp.
Discharged batteries should also be removed. Used batteries and accumulators are hazardous
waste and must be disposed of according to government regulations.
Accessories
The enclosed lanyard can be fastened to the small key ring. The enclosed pouch will fit belt loops up
to a maximum width of 80mm (3.15 inches).
WARNING
Do not shine the light directly in someone’s eyes. If the light beam does shine directly in your eye,
look away immediately. Do not use any magnifying instruments with this lamp that could concentrate
the light beam.
In case of commercial usage, the user of the lamp must be instructed according to the national
regulations for health and safety and the rules of practice.

Ein-und Ausschalten
Durch Betätigung des Druckschalters lässt sich die Lampe ein- und ausschalten. In diesem Fall wird
die Taschenlampe dann mit maximaler Lichtleistung betrieben.
Mikrokontroller Schalter System
Das in der M5 verwendete LED LENSER SchalterSystem nutzt einen Mikroprozessor, um den
Beleuchtungsmodus auszuwählen. Indem ein einziger Schalter verwendet wurde, konnte die
Schnittstelle zum Nutzer sehr einfach und anwenderfreundlich gehalten werden. Durch das System
kann die Lampe mit einer reduzierten Lichtleistung, mit maximaler Lichtleistung und in einem
Stroboskopmodus betrieben werden.
Die maximale Lichtleistung wird erreicht, indem der Schalter gedrückt wird.
Die reduzierte Lichtleistung wird erreicht, indem der Schalter innerhalb einer Sekunde einmal
angetippt und dann geschaltet wird.
Den Stroboskopmodus können Sie anwählen indem Sie den Schalter innerhalb einer Sekunde
zweimal antippen und schalten.
Speed Fokus
Diese Lampe ist fokussierbar. Hierzu halten Sie die Lampe am geriffelten Mittelteil mit einer Hand
fest und schieben mit der anderen Hand den Objektivtubus nach vorne oder hinten. Hierdurch
können Sie den Lichtstrahl stufenlos, entsprechend Ihren Bedürfnissen, einstellen.
Wechsel der Batterien
Zum Wechsel der Batterie schrauben Sie bitte die Lampe hinten auf. Entnehmen Sie die
verbrauchte Batterie und entsorgen Sie diese. Führen Sie die neue Batterie mit dem Pluspol (+)
voran in das Batteriefach ein. Danach schrauben Sie die Endkappe wieder zu.
Achtung!
Wenn Sie eine neue Batterie einlegen, beachten Sie unbedingt die Polaritätsmarkierungen (+) und
(-) im Batteriefach. Andernfalls besteht eventuell die Gefahr, dass Batterien beschädigt werden und
explodieren!
Batterien
Nicht wieder aufladbare Batterien dürfen keinesfalls wieder aufgeladen werden. Die Verwendung
von hochstromfähigen Batterien und Akkus ist wegen anderer elektrischer Werte nicht zugelassen.
Falls Sie die Lampe längere Zeit nicht verwenden wollen, entnehmen Sie unbedingt die Batterie, um
Schäden zu vermeiden. Leere Batterien müssen entnommen werden. Verbrauchte Batterien und
Akkus sind Sondermüll und müssen gemäß der nationalen Gesetzgebung entsorgt werden.
Zubehör
Die mitgelieferte Handschlaufe kann mit dem Miniatur-Schlüsselring an der Lampe befestigt werden.
Die Gürteltasche passt an Gürtel bis zu einer Breite von ca. 80 mm (Koppel).
Sicherheitshinweis
Richten Sie niemals absichtlich den Lichtstrahl in die eigenen oder in die Augen anderer Personen.
Falls ein Lichtstrahl in die Augen trifft, sind die Augen bewusst zu schließen und der Kopf aus dem
Lichtstrahl zu bewegen. Es dürfen keine optisch stark bündelnden Instrumente zur Betrachtung des
Lichtstrahls verwendet werden. Wenn jemand direkt in den Lichtstrahl blickt, kann die hohe
Leuchtkraft der Lampe zu Blenderscheinungen führen.
Bei gewerblicher Nutzung oder der Nutzung im Bereich der öffentlichen Hand ist der Benutzer
entsprechend der Vorschriften für Laserstrahlung zu unterweisen.

Encendido y apagado de la linterna
Para encender y apagar la linterna pulse el botón que está al final de la linterna.
1. Micro Controlador de Sistema de Encendido
El sistema de micro control de LED LENSER usa un microprocesador para controlar la iluminación
del LED.
Usando un único pulsador, el interfaz del usuario ha sido diseñado para un uso sencillo, intuitivo y
siempre permitiendo al usuario poner la luz a su máxima potencia. El pulsador ofrece varias
opciones:
a)Máxima potencia: pulsar 1 vez suavemente el botón de encendido y hacer “click”
b)Mínima intensidad: pulsar 2 veces suavemente el botón de encendido y hacer “click”
c)SOS luz de emergencia y/o estroboscópica. Se pulsa suavemente el botón de encendido 3 veces
y después hacer “click”.
2. Velocidad de enfoque en una sola mano
En esta linterna el foco es regulable. Para ajustar el haz de luz según sus necesidades, basta con
avanzar o retroceder con el pulgar sobre la cabeza de la linterna.
Sustitución de las pilas
Para sustituir las pilas, por favor, desenroscar el tapón al final de la linterna. Saque las pilas
utilizadas (descargadas) y deshágase de ellas apropiadamente. Inserte las nuevas pilas con el polo
positivo (+) en primer lugar. Cerrar la linterna enroscando la tapa trasera en su lugar.
Importante - cuando proceda a la inserción de nuevas pilas, siga las marcas de polaridad (+) y (-)
que están marcadas en el soporte de las pilas. Si no se hace correctamente, podrían producirse
daños en las pilas.
Pilas
Nunca intente recargar las pilas o usar usadas y nuevas juntas. No utilice pilas de alta corriente, ya
que no son compatibles con los acumuladores en esta linterna. Si no tiene intención de usar la
linterna por un largo período de tiempo, retírelas para evitar fugas y daños. Las pilas descargadas
deben ser retiradas. Acumuladores y pilas usadas son residuos peligrosos y deben ser eliminados
de acuerdo con las regulaciones gubernamentales.
Accesorios
El cordón adjunto puede ser atado al llavero pequeño. La funda se ajusta a la trabilla del cinturón
hasta una anchura máxima de 80mm.
ADVERTENCIA
No alumbrar con la luz directamente a los ojos de alguien. Si el haz de luz le alcanzase
directamente al ojo, retire inmediatamente la mirada. No use ningún instrumento de aumento con
esta linterna que pueda concentrar el haz de luz.
