Single Color SMD Interior Lighting Kit

Warning: Please check your state and local laws before installing this kit. Each state has different policies and procedures in place for aftermarket vehicle accessories. LEDGlow is not
responsible for any fines that you may incur while using this interior kit. This kit is for off road use only.

Warning:
LEDGlow recommends that this kit is installed by a licensed professional. Improper installation of this kit will void all warranties.

This kit is expandable, and the control box will power a total of 180 LEDs or 15 twelve inch strips

Please read the following instructions thoroughly before installing this kit.

1.

Do a mockup of the way you are planning to install this kit into the interior of your vehicle, and test the kit prior to installation to ensure it is functioning properly.

2.

Remove any trim pieces that may hinder the installation of the tubes on the vehicle. (Optional)

3.

The included tubes feature two different wire lengths (5 feet and 9 feet) allowing them be installed virtually anywhere in your vehicle. Some good mounting locations are
under the dash in the foot well area, under the seat facing the foot well area, in the back seat or even inside of the trunk. When installing the interior tubes it is best to make
sure they are not visible which will give your interior a custom look.
NOTE: Output A and Output B located on the side of the control box are used to power the LED interior tubes. Use one or both of the outputs to power your
kit. Both of them do not have to both be used.

4.

Start with the front tubes and mount them with plenty of clearance from any moving parts such as the steering shaft and/or pedals. Make sure the power wires are not near
the seat tracks or anything that may potentially cut or pinch the wires.

5.

DO NOT SHORTEN OR CUT THE ANY OF THE INCLUDED WIRES, this will IMMEDIATELY void the warranty. This kit features USB connections
allowing them to be daisy chained together, and cannot be spliced if cut.

6.

Find a safe and secure position to mount the control box. We recommend mounting the control box inside of your center console or inside of the glove box.

7.

Connect the red power wire to a 12 volt power source. You can power this kit by running the red wire straight to the battery or by connecting it to your fuse block using
LEDGlow’s Expandable Circuit which is available online at

www.LEDGlow.com

.

If you are running the power wire to the battery and going through the fire wall or any other metal parts, you must protect the wire by using an existing grommet or
by drilling a new hole in the firewall and adding a new grommet.

For installation using LEDGlow’s Expandable Circuit use a multi-meter to locate a constant 12 volt fuse. Remove the stock fuse and install the expandable circuit
in its location. Re-install the original fuse into the slot located on the expandable circuit, and connect the red power wire.

If you connect the power wire to a constant 12 volt source the kit will remember the last color and pattern it was on set on prior to the vehicle being turned off. This
kit will stay on until you turn it off.
If you are connecting the power wire to a switched 12 volt power source this kit will not remember the last color and pattern
it was set on prior to the vehicle being turned off.

If you need to extend the power wire be sure to use only 14 or 16 gauge automotive grade wire, and install a fuse within 6 inches of the power source. (Fuse is not
included if you have to extend the wires.)

Connect the black wire to a good ground source on the vehicle. You can connect this ground wire directly to the battery, engine ground, or any bare metal source.

8.

Re-Install any of the removed trim from step 2 and test the functionality of your new kit.
