Warning:
Please check your state and local laws before installing this Motorcycle Lighting Kit. Every state has different policies
and procedures in place regarding aftermarket LED lighting accessories. LEDGlow is not responsible for any fines that you may
receive while using this lighting kit. This kit is for off road use only.

Warning: The installation of this kit is recommended to be installed by a licensed professional. The improper installation of this
kit will void all warranties.

It is imperative that all of the tubes are installed and connected to the control box with the included USB power wires
BEFORE powering and turning this kit on. Failure to follow these instructions will result in the control box failing.

The control box that is used to power the motorcycle lighting strips must be installed in a dry location! Having this part
exposed to water or the elements will cause the kit’s controller to fail. Any water damage or corrosion to this part will
VOID all warranties.

It is recommended to install each motorcycle lighting tube using 3M™ Adhesion Promoter which allows for a much stronger
bond between the adhesive tape of the light tube and the cleaned mounting surface of your motorcycle. This is an optional
installation accessory that is NOT included with your motorcycle lighting kit.

You do not need to close the daisy chain circuit in order for this kit to function fully.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE INSTALLING AND OPERATING
THIS LED MOTORCYCLE KIT.

Motorcycle Light Kit Installation:

1.

Upon receiving your new motorcycle lighting kit, we ask that you first test the kit to ensure it is functioning properly.
MAKE SURE TO CONNECT THE TUBES AND USB WIRES TO THE CONTROL BOX BEFORE
POWERING THE KIT ON.
Connect the red power wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the black ground
wire to the negative terminal of the battery. Once the wires are temporarily secure, power the kit to ensure full
functionality before installing it. If everything appears to be working correctly turn the kit off and disconnect the power
and ground wires from the battery to prepare for installation.

2.

Optional: Remove any trim pieces from your motorcycle that may hinder the installation of the lighting tubes.

3.

Begin by first laying out the mini LED lighting tubes similar to the way they will be installed. Note: Each lighting tube
is linked to the next tube through the daisy chaining feature. It is extremely important to mount the first tube of the
daisy chain sequence as close to the control box location as the length of the USB wire you are using. Make sure that
the wires will be able to be routed in such a way that they will not be pinched, cut or exposed to heat. Also, keep the
wires and tubes away from all moving parts that may come in contact with any part of the kit. A few recommended
locations on your motorcycle to mount the light tubes are under the gas tank, lower frame rail, rear fender frame rail,
triple trees, lower swing arm, and under the seat. IF A WIRE IS PINCHED, IT WILL CAUSE THE KIT TO
MALFUNCTION AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY DUE TO PHYSICAL DAMAGE.

4.

Once the motorcycle lighting tubes and wires have been mocked up, clean the proposed mounting surfaces with an
alcohol prep pad. The mounting surface should be between 45 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit to achieve the strongest
bonding results from the double sided adhesive tape. Note: The surface area must be free of all oils, moisture, dirt and
wax in order for the supplied adhesive tape to bond and adhere to the installation surface correctly. Recommended: To
achieve the strongest bond between the lighting strips and the motorcycle, you can use 3M Adhesion Promoter, which
is sold separately from your kit.
