INSTALLATION

1. Following the Quickconnect instructions, (opposite side) attach the contacts to the (+) and (-) lead
wires supplied with the winch.

2. Attach the 30 inch long 6 AWG wire from the battery negative (-) terminal or from the engine to the
vehicle frame. (Since many vehicle engines are mounted on rubber pads this wire will assure a good
electrical ground).

3. Route the 19 foot long wire from the back of the vehicle to the battery. Once the cable is routed,
attach the circuit breaker to the ring terminal using the bolt, nut and washer supplied with the circuit
breaker. Next attach the circuit breaker to the positive terminal (+) on the battery. If your winch was
not equipped with a circuit breaker, connect the 19' wire directly to the (+) battery connection. Be
certain to secure the wire along the route with the cable ties supplied with the kit. Be sure the wires
are kept away from all moving and hot parts on the vehicle. (You may want to mount the Quickconnect
under the bumper).
