SM3255EN

The SM3255EN is a high compatibility and high

performance USB 2.0 Flash Disk controller designed

for supporting SLC, MLC and TLC NAND-type Flash

memory on a single chip. For the USB2.0 Flash Disk

applications, the SM3255EN supports a high capacity

of up to four NAND flash devices

, “Write Protect”

function, PC boot-up from USB2.0 Flash Disk,

password protection, and secured partitioning

functions.

The SM3255EN controller delivers an extremely high

data-transfer rate and ensures data accuracy through

the use of a powerful ECC engine for the coverage of

SLC/MLC/TLC flash read and write disturbances. By

integrating 5V/3.3V and 3.3V/1.8V regulators and

Power-on-Rest components, the controller can

reduce

customer’s overall system cost. The

SM3255EN controller is now available for

LQFP/TQFP 48-pin package and QFN 40-pin

package with a manufacturing-ready turnkey solution.
