PRIMING THE INJECTION HOSE

The injection hose is primed and ready for use.

1. Remove cap and seal from the 1/4oz. (7.5ml) primer cartridge.
2. Attach R-134a hose to cartridge then remove drip cap.
3. Pull the rod all the way back from the injection gun.
4. Install cartridge/hose assembly into injection gun then push the

rod towards the cartridge.
5. Connect

LOW-Side adapter to the quick-connect coupler.

6. Squeeze trigger repeatedly until cartridge is empty.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove cap and seal from the 1oz. (30ml) Leak Guard cartridge.

Attach R-134a hose to the top of cartridge. (Fig.1)
2. Pull the rod all the way back from injection gun then install

cartridge/hose assembly into injection gun. (Fig.2)
3. Squeeze trigger repeatedly until piston rests against the Leak

Guard cartridge. (Fig.3)
4. Connect injection gun system to the

LOW side port of the

vehicle’s A/C system. (Fig.4)

5. Empty the entire Leak Guard cartridge into the A/C system by

squeezing the trigger.
6. Disconnect injection gun system from the vehicle then attach

drip cap to the coupler.
7. Start engine and turn vehicle’s A/C to maximum cooling. Allow

A/C system to run for 15 minutes to circulate Leak Guard to seal

all leaks.

We recommend to use one cartridge for leaks less than 25oz.

(700 g) per year. Use 2 cartridges for larger leaks.

Not recommended for system that cannot hold 5 inches of vacuum for 25 minutes or

15 inches of vacuum for 5 minutes.
CAUTION:
Avoid contact with skin. Always use protective eyewear.
