Three (3) Cone Sections Four (4) 5/16"x1 1/4" Bolts
Twenty Six (26) 5/16" Flat Washers Nine (9) 5/16"x7/8" Bolts
Thirteen (13) 5/16" Lock Nuts One (1) Wire Guard

Directions
1. Check that all materials are present.
2. Remove the discharge side screen guard if present. Save the bolts and washers. You will need them
later.
3. Connect two sections together with three bolts three nuts and six washers and be sure that you place
washers on either side of the cone to minimize the chance of cracking the cone. DO NOT TIGHTEN
BOLTS COMPLETELY TIGHT.
4. Connect the third cone piece to the other two as you did in step 3 above. DO NOT TIGHTEN BOLTS
COMPLETELY TIGHT.
5. Mount the cone to the fan using the bolts
from step 2. Note the center of the top
section should be oriented as shown. Again
check that you placed a washer between the
bolt head, and the cone. Be sure that inside
of cone fits tight around orifice before
tightening section bolts.
6. Install the new wire guard in place at the end
of the cone. You should use the four
5/16"X1 1/4" bolts and eight 5/16" washers.
