Capacitor Replacement

120,000+ BTU Large Heaters

CAUTION! Be sure that heater is cool before touching internal surfaces. These surfaces

do stay hot enough to cause severe burns during operation.

Removable Mounted Capacitor (See Fig. 1)

Non-Removable Mounted Capacitor (See Fig. 2)

1.

Disconnect All Electrical Power.

2.

Remove nut and capacitor.

3.

Disconnect wire leads from old
capacitor and connect to new capacitor.

4.

Install new capacitor
and replace nut.

Disconnect All Electrical Power To Heater.

2.

Disconnect leads from old capacitor and

connect to new capacitor

.

3.

From the top right corner of the motor mount plate,
measure down 1 inch and over 1-1/2 inches. Mount new
capacitor to the motor mount plate with two self-tapping
sheet metal screws. See Fig. 2.
