1. Feed the shock cord through the washer and tie a knot at the end of the shock cord.
The small washer is just slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the supplied
ferrule. When the washer is pushed up into the ferrule the indented punch stop on
the ferrule will stop it from going past.
2. Tape the end of the guide wire to the end of the shock cord. Gently feed the wire
and attached shock cord through the rest of the poles and ferrules.
3. At the end of the last pole and ferrule insert another washer. Pull the shock cord
tight but don’t stretch it to its full length.
4. Tie another knot at the end the shock cord to the end washer and let the washer go
up inside the last ferrule. The tent pole is ready for use.
