Quick-Dial numbers and dialling options

Dialling options

You can use the fax machine to make voice telephone calls by
dialling manually or by using Search, One-Touch or Speed-Dial
memory. You can use the handset to make calls.

When you dial a quick-dial number, the LCD shows the name
you’ve stored, or if you haven’t stored a name, the fax number
you’ve stored.

Manual dialling

Manual dialling is simply pressing all of the digits of the phone
number.

Pick up the handset.

OR

Press Speaker Phone (FAX-T106 only).

When you hear a dial tone, dial the call using the dial pad.

To hang up, replace the handset.

OR

Press Speaker Phone (FAX-T106 only).

On Hook dialling

Dial the number by using the dial pad or Quick-Dial keys.

The number you are dialling, or the name you have stored for
One-Touch or Speed-Dial is displayed on the LCD.

For FAX-T104, press Fax Start and pick up the handset when
you hear the call answered on the monitor speaker. (If you
press Tel before lifting the handset, the call will be
disconnected. Replace the handset to finish the call.)

For FAX-T106, press Fax Start, and when the call is
answered, you can now speak to the party at the other end
without lifting the handset. Press Speaker Phone when you
finish the conversation.
