Using Optional Accessories

NOTES

• The camcorder is not compatible with the receiver's digital compass

and positioning interval functions. Also, the [Set now] option is not
available for the [J Other Functions]

[GPS Auto Time] setting.

• The GPS receiver's time will be set once when the receiver is attached

to the camcorder. The time will not be adjusted while recording.

• GPS information cannot be added to photos captured from a clip.

Using the RC-V100 Remote Controller

You can attach the optional RC-V100 Remote Controller to control the
camcorder (including advanced recording functions) from a distance.

* In

mode, the remote controller can be used only to access the menus.

1 Turn off the camcorder and connect the optional RC-V100

Remote Controller to the camcorder.

• For details, refer to the instruction manual of the RC-V100.

2 Turn on the camcorder and open the [REMOTE Term.] submenu.

3 Select [RC-V100] and then press SET.
