Settings for Patient ID
You can set the input screen display, number of characters to input, requirement to input, and type of
characters to input, in the patient ID menu.
The patient ID is a code to identify patients. You can set up to 64 alphanumeric characters and
symbols. The set patient ID can be checked on the Measurement screen, PATIENTID screen,
printed data, and data output to external devices.

Set whether to display the PATIENTID screen after printing (PRINT button
is pressed) or clearing data (CLS key is pressed).
[ON]: Displays.
[OFF]: Does not display.

Limit Data
Length
Set whether to limit the number of characters in a patient ID.
[OFF]: No limit. Maximum number of characters is 64.
[1 to 63]: Limited. It is not possible to input more characters than the
number set.
OFF
Always Input Set whether to require that the patient ID be input.
[ON]: Input is required. A message appears after the PATIENTID screen
is closed, and before the first printout, and before transmitting data.
[OFF]: Input is not required.

Numeric
Set whether to display numbers in the character list on the PATIENTID
screen.
[ON]: Displays.
[OFF]: Does not display.

Alphabet
(Upper)
Set whether to display upper case letters of the alphabet in the character
list on the PATIENTID screen.
[ON]: Displays.
[OFF]: Does not display.
ON
Alphabet
(Lower)
Set whether to display lower case letters of the alphabet in the character
list on the PATIENTID screen.
[ON]: Displays.
[OFF]: Does not display.

Symbol
Set whether to display symbols in the character list on the PATIENTID
screen.
[ON]: Displays.
[OFF]: Does not display.
