FTP provides convenient environment when accessing LG Network Storage on the
internet. FTP uses Port number 21 as a default.

When using an IP router, you may have to correct the IP router settings.
Please refer to Port Forwarding or DMZ section of the router manual.
FTP is able to connect using DDNS service.
LG Network Storage supports FTPS with enhanced security than FTP to safely protect user
information over the internet.
In order to use FTPS, you need to use FTP connecting program that supports FTPS.

Connect to Network Storage
Web Menu -> Configuration
-> Network Service Setting ->
click on ‘File Server (FTP)’
Enter file server use option and information.
You can choose manual port from 53000~56000.
Advanced settings are for users with network experience.
