Recovering the operating environment

In the event of an error in the Application Agent operating environment, the environment can be
recovered by restoring the backup taken in

Files that need to be backed up

” on page 213.

An error message is output when an error occurred in the Application Agent operating environment.
Restore necessary files according to the message.

To recover the operating environment:

1.

Confirm the following items:

• Application Agent is installed (including Service Packs).
• The license is set.
• Application Agent is not running.

2.

Overwrite the files that were protected (backed up) in

Application Agent environment setting

files and log files

Definition files created after the installation of Application

Agent

” on page 214 to their original location.

Operations from the time of backup can commence after the above processes have finished.
