but not a target volume.

• Volumes that are part of a Continuous Access Synchronous pair, Hitachi TrueCopy for Mainframe,
or Continuous Access Journal pair, and the CLPRs (cache logical partitions) of the migration target
and migration-source volumes are different.
• Quorum disks used for External Storage Access Manager.
• The P-VOL and S-VOL of an External Storage Access Manager pair.
• Smart volumes to which a data placement profile is applied.
Conditions of volumes that cannot be used as migration sources
For volumes that cannot be specified as migration sources, the following character strings are displayed
in the Migration Restrictions column of Selected Volumes in the Migration Source page of the Migrate
Data wizard.
