Display Filter window

This window filters volumes displayed in the Volume list by reserve attribute, pair condition, and pair

status. To open the Display Filter window, click Display Filter on the BC main screen, or select any pair or

volume in the Volume list, right-click, and select Display Filter.

The Display Filter window has the following features:

The CLPR drop-down list displays the specified cache logical partition (CLPR).

Volume box:
• The Reserve(d) check box displays reserved or unreserved volumes. If you select the Reserve(d)

check box, only reserved volumes are displayed in the Volume list. If you clear the Reserve(d) check

box, only unreserved volumes are displayed.

NOTE:

If you select the Reserved check box, you cannot select any other check boxes.

NOTE:

Volumes specified as the S-VOL of a BC pair are automatically reserved by the disk array.

• The Pair check box displays paired volumes.
• The Non-Pair check box displays non-paired volumes.
• The Cascade check box filters the pairs in the Volume list by cascade level. Clicking L1 displays L1

pairs only. Clicking L1-L2 displays both L1 and L2 pairs.

Use the Pair Status box to filter pairs displayed in the Volume list by pair status: COPY(PD), PAIR, PSUS,

COPY(RS), PSUE, COPY(RS-R), PSUS(SP), and COPY(SP). All check boxes are selected by default.

The OK button applies the settings, and closes the Display Filter window.

The Cancel button resets the settings, and closes the Display Filter window.

NOTE:

Filter settings are only effective within the current BC session. If you switch to another program

feature (such as LUN Manager or

Continuous Access XP

) or click a button on the toolbar, the settings are

reset.
