The HP Designjet 5000PS Printer and HP Designjet
5000 Printer use a variety of media. The recommended
media is engineered for use with your printer and your
printer’s ink system to give you the best results.
The Media & Ink tab contains seven sections:

Media
Choosing the correct media type for your needs is
an essential step in ensuring good image quality.
This section explains how to choose the correct
media type from the list of HP Supported Types of
Media.

Roll Media
This section explains how to load and unload a roll
of media.

Sheet Media
This section explains how to load and unload a
sheet of media.

The Ink System
This section gives you an overview of the printer’s
ink system.

The Ink Cartridge
This section shows you how to replace an ink
cartridge.

The Printhead
This section shows you how to replace a
printhead. Whenever you remove a printhead and
replace it with a new printhead, you must also
replace the corresponding printhead cleaner.

The Printhead Cleaner
This section shows you how to replace a printhead
cleaner.
