BMR Suspension STB011 - Manual

S197 STRUT TOWER BRACE
Part #’s STB009, STB010, STB011
REQUIRED TOOLS:
13MM wrench or socket
Loctite (Blue - medium strength)
INSTALLATION:
1. Remove the inboard strut tower mounting nuts using a 13mm wrench or socket.
2. Install the BMR brace onto the strut towers. For Part #’s STB009 and STB010,
proceed to step 3. Part # STB011 is designed to clear stock engine covers
however due to production variance it may be necessary to perform the following
modification to gain an additional 3/16” clearance. Remove the engine cover.
Using an 8mm deep socket, remove the studs shown in the image below. Re-
install the engine cover and insert the studs on top of the cover (previously they
were installed below the cover). This modification will lower the cover the same
distance as the stud/nut height, approximately 3/16”.
3. Apply thread-locker to the studs and install the supplied washers and nuts.
4. Tighten to 26 ft./lbs.
