BMR DRIVESHAFT SHAFT SAFETY LOOP INSTALLATION

Part # DSL009

(Approximate install time – 1.5 hours)



Installation:

1. Lift vehicle and support.
2. Locate the protrusions on the frame cross support. The two holes in the drive shaft loop base locate

from these points. Position the loop base over the protrusions as in the image below.

3. Trace the loop onto the floor pan and remove the loop.
4. Prepare the traced area of the floor pan and loop for welding by grinding away the paint and powder

coat. It is important to get a clean, surface for optimal weld penetration.

5. Reposition the loop base into place using the alignment holes and weld into place.
6. Prep the welded area and seal it with a rust preventative paint.
7. Position the loop portion over the drive shaft as in the image below. Adjust the loop to provide the most

amount of drive shaft clearance possible and bolt into place using the provided hardware.

8. Lower vehicle.
