<Caution !>
Remove the original Clip support for AMD “Socket k8/754/939”
from the Motherboard.The clip Enzotech provides is thinner at the
edges.Users of AMD “Socket k8/754/939” MUST CHANGE THIS
CLIP. The CPU cannot make contact with the top of the cooler
using the original clip!

3. Hold attachment lever upright, then press
down (1) and move it outwards (2) until
the clip slots fit on to the Retention Module
lugs.

4. Make sure slots of retaining clip are firmly
attached to the retention module lugs on
both sides, then fasten the lever in place as
shown.
1 2 (3)AMD Socket AM2/940: 4. Align the slots in the retaining clip with the
lugs on the retention module (1). Then
rotate cooler down until it sits horizontally
on the CPU (2).
2. Clean the contact surfaces of the CPU
and heatsink. Then apply “Arctic Silver 5”
on the contact surface of the CPU and
the heatsink base.

1. Clean the contact surfaces of the CPU and
heatsink. Then apply “Arctic Silver 5” on the
contact surface of the CPU and the heatsink
base.

2. Align back plate for “Socket 775”
on back side of the motherboard.
3. Place Extreme-X on the center of the
CPU. There are four holes on the
base to put the metal rods through.
4. Place innerspring screws on the
four metal rods and fasten down
until all sides are level.
3. Hold the attachment lever upright, then
press down (1) and move it outwards (2) until
the clip slots fit onto the Retention Module
lugs.

2. Plug other end of fan speed connector into
the 3-pin CPU fan connector on the
motherboard
3. Install the bracket of the fan-speed
controller in an open PCI slot.
4. Push the knob in place
Note:
Some mainboards will not boot if rotation of the CPU fan is below a
certain number of RPM’s. If this happens, try changing the BIOS
setting to “Silent Mode”.For more information on updating BIOS,
please refer to your mainboard installation manual or the
manufacturer's web site.
1. Align the Retention Module and the back-plate
for AMD “Socket k8/754/939” with the
mounting holes on the motherboard and
fasten them together using the Retention
Module mounting bolts.

Precautions:
1.Excessive force exerted on fan assy during installation can
damage the fan,resulting in damage to the system.
2.Avoid inserting any objects into the fan while it is in operation.
3.Check the parts list and condition of product before installation.
If any problem is found, contact place of purchase to obtain
replacement.
4.Do not ingest or make oral contact with the Thermal Grease.
If ingested, get medical attention immediately.
5.Enzotech is not responsible for any damages due to external
causes, including but not limited to, improper use, problems with
electrical power, accidents , neglect, alteration, repair, improper
installation, or improper testing.
2 Align the slots in the retaining clip with the
lugs on the retention module (1), then rotate
cooler down until it sits horizontally on the
CPU (2).

and heatsink. Then apply “Arctic Silver 5”
on the contact surface of the CPU and
the heatsink base.
1. Plug adjustable fan speed connector into
the 3-pin connector of fan as shown in
Figure 1.
