Camera settings menu

Power Save
If you perform no operations for 30 seconds, the
camera automatically switches to Power save mode.

• In Power save mode, press any button other than
[ POWER] to resume using the camera.
• Even if you do not set the Power save mode, the
screen will dim 30 seconds after the last operation
to save power.

Description Display a brief description of an option or menu.

Start Image
Set a start image to display when the camera turns
on.
•
Off*: Display no start image.
• Logo: Display a default image stored in the internal
memory.
• User Image: Display the image you want. (p. 77)
• Only one user image will be saved in the
memory.
• If you select a new photo as a user image or
reset your camera, the current image will be
deleted.
Display
Brightness
Adjust the brightness of the screen.
(
Auto*, Dark, Normal, Bright)
Normal is fixed in Playback mode even if you have
selected
Auto.
Quick View
Set the duration for reviewing a captured image before
returning to the Shooting mode. (
Off, On*)
