to erase the greeting message, then use the touch screen keypad to enter a new greeting.

LCD Brightness

After you set the backlight duration, set the brightness levels.

1.

From Display settings menu, touch LCD brightness.

2.

Touch and drag the Level slider to the brightness level you desire (range is 1-5).

3.

Touch Save.

Backlight time

A backlight illuminates the internal display and the keypad. When you touch any key, the backlight turns on.
Backlight turns off when no keys are touched within a given period of time, depending on the Backlight menu
setting. The display turns off after one minute to conserve battery power.

This setting determines how long the backlight is on.

To specify the length of time the backlight is active:

1.

From Display settings menu, touch Backlight time.

2.

Touch one of the backlight times (range is 8 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, or 1 minute).

3.

Touch Save.

Time & Date

This menu allows you to change the current time and date displayed.

From Idle mode, touch Menu

Time and date.

2.

Touch the Time zone updating drop-down list and select one of the following:

• Automatic: the phone automatically updates the time and date according to the current time zone using the network service.

• Manual only: you need to manually set the time and date according to the current time zone using the Set time menu.

• Prompt first: you are prompted for a time change, if available.

3.

Touch the Time zone field (only available if Time zone updating is set to Manual only or Prompt first).
