Section 6: Customizing Your Gear Live
On your Gear Live, you can select how bright the
display is, whether a watch face displays when your
Gear Live is idle, and what watch face displays when
your Gear Live is active.
For information on more Gear Live settings, see
“Using Android Wear” on page 36.
Launching the Settings menu
1. From the Watch screen, say “OK Google”,
and then at the Speak now prompt, say
“Settings”.

Tap the Watch screen, and then swipe
upward until the Settings option displays,
and then tap it.
Adjusting Display Brightness
You can adjust the brightness of the Gear Live display
on the device itself.
1. From the Settings screen, tap Adjust
brightness.
2. Swipe upward or downward, then select the
desired display brightness.
Always-on screen
You can select whether a watch face displays when
your Gear Live is idle.
Ⅲ From the Settings screen, tap Always-on
screen to toggle this setting between the
following values:
• On: A subdued watch face displays when your
Gear Live is idle.
• Off: The Gear Live screen goes dark when idle.
