Applications and Widgets 101
Talk
Google Talk is a free Windows and web-based application for
instant messaging offered by Google. Conversation logs are
automatically saved to a Chats area in your Gmail account. This
allows you to search a chat log and store them in your Gmail
accounts. For more information, refer to “Google Talk” on
page 53.
Tip: A shortcut to Talk appears on the Main Home screen by default.
ᮣ From the Home screen, touch Talk .

From a Home screen, touch Applications ➔ Talk .
Task Manager
View and manage active applications on your device. For more
information, refer to “Task Manager” on page 8.
Tip: To quickly launch Task Manager at any time, touch and hold the
Home Key , then touch Task manager.

➔ Task manager .
ThinkFree Office
ThinkFree Office Mobile for Android is a Microsoft Office
compatible office suite. This application provides a central place
for managing your documents online or offline.
1. From a Home screen, touch Applications
➔ ThinkFree Office .
2. Read the End User License Agreement, then touch Accept
if you agree with the terms of use.
3. Touch Activate now and then touch Close to activate
ThinkFree Office on your device.
– or –
Touch Later, if you would prefer to activate ThinkFree
Office at another time.
Four tabs display:
• Home: Displays the introduction to ThinkFree Office and lists a
short description of each of the tabs and what type of information
they provide.
• My Docs: This is where you keep your documents on this device.
You can manage documents, or send them to others, and upload
the documents to ThinkFree Online.
• Online: This provides your online storage information. You can also
share your documents to others without using email attachments.
