3. Configure the group settings and check Automatically add discovered device to this group.
If you want to add more functions, click Add Function.
4. Click OK.
5. Go to Devices menu > Discovery > Discovery Settings.
Specify the discovery settings and start the discovery.
Please make sure that this grouping is done before discovery.
Configuration overview
SyncThru™ Admin 5 provides the ability to configure a device’s settings with SNMP protocol. Device configuration works
differently depending on whether a single device or multiple devices are selected. Available configuration items depend on
the device model and firmware version. Most items are only available for Samsung devices while a few items are
vendor-independent.
With the Configuration menu, you can:
• view current settings of a device.
• configure a device(s) manually.
• configure a device(s) using a CSV file or a template.
• copy the settings from the specific device and save as a template.
• check the results of the configuration including details, such as the reason for failure.
• retry the configuration job.
From the SyncThru™ Admin 5, click the Devices menu > Configuration.
