Adding a Hard Drive
(optional, 550P7C models only)
This computer contains either a single hard drive or dual hard
drives (optional).
If your computer has a single hard drive, you can install an
additional hard drive in the secondary hard drive bay.
The images used in the instructions below are for •
illustration purposes only and may differ from the actual
product.
Supports 9.5mmH 2.5” SATA2 notebook hard drives only

(sold separately).
Caution: Hard drive cases have sharp edges that can cause

injury.
When adding another hard drive, use the secondary hard
•
drive case, connector, and screws that are provided with
this product.

Shut down the computer completely and unplug the power
adapter from the main unit.

Remove the hard drive bay cover screw and separate the
cover.

1 Insert the secondary hard drive into the case so that all the
holes are lined up and then 2 fasten the hard drive screws to
secure the hard drive to the case.
