Using the Scene mode
In Scene mode, you can capture a photo with options that are preset for a specific scene.

Clearly capture text from printed or electronic
documents.
Sunset
Capture scenes at sunset, with natural-looking reds
and yellows.
Dawn Capture scenes at sunrise.
Backlight Capture backlit subjects.
Beach &
Snow Reduce underexposure of subjects caused by
sunlight reflected from sand or snow.
Zooming

Capture scenes with blurred edges.
• To change a scene mode, press [ m], and then
select . You can select any of the scenes listed.

Shot Capture a portrait with options to hide facial
imperfections.

Capture scenes at night or in low lighting (using a
tripod is recommended).
