Function
Description Display a brief description of an option or menu.
(Off, On*)
Start Image
Set a start image to display when the camera turns
on.
Off • *: Display no start image.
Logo • : Display a default image stored in the internal
memory.
User Image • : Display the image you want. (p. 81)
The camera will save only one user image in the •
internal memory at a time.
If you select a new photo as a user image or •
reset your camera, the camera will delete the
current image.
Grid Line
Select a grid to help you compose a scene.
(2 X 2*, 3 X 3, +, X)
Display
Brightness
Adjust the brightness of the screen.
(Auto*, Dark, Normal, Bright)
Normal is fixed in Playback mode even if you have selected
Auto.
Quick View
Set the duration for reviewing a captured image
before returning to the Shooting mode.
(Off, 0.5 sec*, 1 sec, 3 sec)

Children Sound
Set a sound the camera emits in Children mode.

Set the sound the camera emits when you touch

Shutter Sound
Set the sound the camera emits when you press
the shutter button. (Off, 1*, 2, 3)
Start Sound
Set the sound the camera emits when you turn on
your camera. (Off*, 1, 2, 3)
AF Sound
Set the sound the camera emits when you half-
press the shutter button. (Off, On*)
