Searching for a Contact
To search for a contact:
1. Press and touch Main ( ) > Voice
Command.
– or –
Press and hold .
2. If you hear “Say a command,” say “ Lookup. ”
3. Say the name of the contact. For example, say
“
John Smith ”. The entry information for the
specified contact is displayed.
Opening Menus with ASR
Open an application or access a menu by saying “ Go
To ” followed by the name of the application or menu.
To see a list of possible choices:
1. Press and touch Main ( ) > Voice
Command.

Press and hold .
2. Say “ Go To. ” A list of valid destinations is displayed
and you are prompted with “ Which shortcut ?”
Ⅲ If the list is too long to fit on one screen, you can
say the name of a destination.
Ⅲ Examples can include: Email , Messaging, Driving
mode, Calculator, Notes, Calendar, Clock, or
Settings .
3. Say the name of the application you want the
phone to activate.
Checking Phone Status Using ASR
You can use ASR to obtain information about your
phone such as
Status , Time , Signal Strength , Network ,
Battery , and My Phone Number .
1. Press and touch Main ( ) > Voice
Command.
Note: If a name contains multiple numbers and you do not
specify the number type (work, mobile, etc.), your
phone chooses the mobile number by default.
