Users
You can share this tablet with multiple people by creating User accounts. Users have their own
space, which they can customize with their own apps, wallpaper, and other preferences. Users
can also adjust tablet settings, like Wi-Fi, that affect everyone.
Add a New User
1. Press and then touch > Settings > Users.
2. Touch , and then choose the user type:
 User: The user can access their own apps and content from your device.
 Restricted profile: The user can only access limited apps and content on your
device.
3. Follow the onscreen prompts to learn about user profiles and complete the new user
account.
4. Tap the new user account to configure it:
 Set up now: If the new User is able to set up their area now, hand over the device
for them to set up their space.
 Not now: The user can set up their area at a later time.
5. Have the user follow the prompts to set up the tablet with their preferences. For more
information, see Complete the Setup Screens .
Location Settings
Control apps’ access to your location, and configure location sources. Some apps may require
one or more location services be turned On for full app functionality. GPS signals may be
affected by your surroundings, including:

Buildings
●
Tunnels or underground structures
●
Weather conditions
●
High-voltage or electromagnetic fields
●
Tinted windows
